What is STAIRs?

Social Tenants Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) is a government policy that requires registered providers of social housing to publish information about how their social housing is managed.

This page brings together information about how ReSI Homes is governed, how we spend money, how we manage our homes and services, and how we are performing. From 1 October 2026, ReSI Homes will publish information within a publication scheme under the seven categories outlined by the government. From 1 April 2027 eligible customers will also be able to submit written requests for information relating to ReSI Homes’ management of social housing.

Who can use STAIRs?

STAIRs applies to current ReSI Homes residents and shared owners, who own less than 100% of their home. An eligible customer may authorise someone else to act on their behalf.
